â QUOTE
It's no longer a question of staying healthy. It's a question of finding a sickness you like
Jackie Mason. He was a standup comedian and actor. Fun fact: Mason was ordained a rabbi 25 years old. His sermons were so entertaining that gentiles (non jews) would show up to watch them. One day he said, fuck it, and started doing comedy.
What does the quote mean?
With time everything becomes dull. Nothing stays novel forever. Find a passion you want to do even on your worst days.
đ COMPANY: OpenAI
Founded in San Francisco by Sam Altman (former President of YC) and Elon Musk. Altman is a gay vegetarian mega-donor democrat and early investor into Airbnb, Stripe, Reddit, Asana, Pinterest and many others.
OpenAI launched a suite of Artificial Intelligence (AI) products this year. But two stood out - DALLE 2 and ChatGPT.
DALLE 2 can generate an image based on any string of text. ChatGPT is OpenAIâs chat bot suerpstar that is growing faster than any app weâve ever seen.

So, how does ChatGPT work?
OpenAI downloads the entire internet (which reportedly costs millions of dollars)
The model starts as a normal GPT-3 model. GPT-3 is a machine learning model that can generate any type of text. It is the largest nueral learning model ever produced.
Human Trainers act as the user and the AI. They ask ChatGPT questions and rank the responses. These rankings create âreward modelsâ that ChatGPT uses to fine tune itâs answers. They redo the process over and over and over again.
This technology is amazing⌠and scary. People want to know
Will AI takover our jobs?
Will it destory the arts?
How will we know whatâs AI vs. human generated?
đŠđ˝ PERSON: Lionel Messi (1987-Present)
I always liked Messi more than Ronaldo. Scrawny, 5â6, the last name Messi. Sounds like an artist painting a canvas of hat tricks on the soccer field.
Here are 2 stories I love about the Argentine legend:
Messi was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency when he was 11. His family couldnât afford treatment so they looked for alternatives. They contacted family in Spain who got Messi a tryout for the Barcelona youth program. The team doctor was at the tryout and was so impressed with 11-year-old Messi he wanted to offer him a contract. The issue? He didnât have any documents for Messi to sign. Instead of waiting and potentially losing Messi to another Spanish club, he pulled out a napkin and had Messi sign the deal then and there. Messiâs first professional contract was inked on a napkin.
In 2005, Barcelona took a trip to Los Angeles. Ronaldinho, the legendary Brazilian soccer player, was Barcelonaâs best player at the time and good friends with Kobe Bryant. Kobe came to see Barcelona play. After the game, Kobe and Ronaldhino were chatting and Ronaldhino says to Kobe, âIâm going to introduce you to the guy that will be the best player in the world.â Kobe laughed, knowing Ronaldhino likes to play around, and said , âI know youâre the best player in the world.â Ronaldhino says, âNo, no itâs a 17-year-old kid. His name is Messi.â 7 years later Messi and Kobe starred in a Turkish airline commercial together.
